Through Bath and North East Somerset Doctors Urgent Care (BDUC), Vocare provides an integrated urgent care service for Bath, Keynsham & District, Midsomer Norton, Radstock & Chew Valley.
As part of the integrated model of care we operate an urgent care centre at the front of the Royal United Hospital Emergency Department. We also provide GP out-of-hours cover for the whole of Bath and North East Somerset and medical cover to Paulton Memorial Hospital and St Martin’s Hospital.
We operate a Homeless Healthcare Service at Julian House Hostel in Bath.
As Somerset Doctors Urgent Care (SDUC), from July 2015, Vocare began to deliver primary out-of-hours care in Somerset.
Vocare also manages the NHS 111 service in Somerset and Devon, and Cornwall in partnership with Kernow.
Jo is Clinical Support Manager for both the Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset areas. Jo is a qualified nurse, prior to joining BDUC she was Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Nurse at Bath and North East Somerset CCG, having previously been Clinical Lead/Locality Manager for both District Nursing and Intermediate Care Services.
Dr Chris Campbell is the local clinical director for the South West region. He is also a part-time GP Partner in Exeter, Educational Lead for RCGP Tamar Faculty, Tutor for Exeter Medical School & Deputy Crematorium Referee. He has worked in OOH General Practice since he was 18, initially as a Call Operator and later as a Senior Dispatcher. He has a passion for teaching, service improvement and acute medical care.
